This Saturday Michael Una will be giving an artist talk at the Apple Store on North + Clybourn in Chicago. Topics to be discussed include using a laptop and an Ipad to interface with various types of handmade or kit electronics, via MIDI and CV. Also: how to make weird sounds with the same. Are you in Spain? Do you like to Beep-it? Fret no more. Beep-it is now available in Valencia at C/Poeta Mas i Ros, 37. 46022. The store is called Noise Android. And it has all those fun things that the cool kids are playing these days. Which is awesome because Natxo who runs that store is a super nice guy. Plus, Valencia is hotbed of DIY activity. Those people know how to solder.

Australians: now you can Beep-it
It’s a good week. Unatronics is proud to announce that Beep-it and Beep-it Deluxe are now available in Australia through Rhythm Active, located in New South Wales and online at http://www.rhythmactive.com.au/ I heard that Australia has an amazing underground electronic music scene. Did you hear that?

Experimental Garage Sale this Saturday 6/4/2011
Unatronics will have a table full of bent and un-bent devices, handmade synthesizers and noiseboxes, Beep-its, raw materials, and some good stuff to give away for free. It’s a once-a  year extravaganza to clean out the closets of the midwest’s experimental musicians, so come on by and bleed your ears a bit so you can go home and bleed your neighbors’ ears.

Action Items, Unatronics management meeting
Make New Video. Video ideas: 1. Space station video chat conversation 2. “we should go to a scientology center and hijack a meeting and sell beepits… they sense the light of your destiny and convert it into soundwaves of universal karmic peanut butter” 3. Beep-It sounds come out of our mouths. There are subtitles.
